About me
Hi, I'm Jenn. I'm a local mom, photographer and lover of the outdoors. I have always loved nature, but as I've gotten older my love has grown to a fierce desire and I've realized that seeking out nature each day has filled my life with joy.
Before starting my photography business in 2018 (Shiny & Bright Photos) I worked at a local conservation non profit coordinating native habitat restoration projects and running their native plant nursery. During that time I grew to love and appreciate our amazing Pacific Northwest.
In addition to native plants I am also super passionate about wild edibles. I've been foraging since I was a little kid, I was the one begging my cousins to stay at the blackberry patch for just a bit longer. As an adult I have expanded that to all wild edibles and medicinals and love that I can learn something new everyday.
The outdoors feeds my soul and my hope for this new project is help more people find that deep connection too. I promise you it is well worth it.
